No devicesalt in `` on Kobo Libra H2O #19

I've been trying to use libgourou.

I have a Kobo Libra H2O. When I mount my device I can find the folder .adobe-digital-editions which contains:

  • activation.xml
  • device.xml

But, it doesn't contains devicesalt. Do I have to do something extra to find it? Is it required for using libgourou?

I don't really know how to proceed and couldn't find any information.

Hello,

devicesalt is an important file. It's used as an encryption/decryption key for certificates and some requests.

It should be in another place on the filesystem. Can you access your device using ADB tools/SSH/telnet ?

Can you send me the two files for analyze, maybe it's inside (but really not sure) ?

Hi,

Thanks for answering.

I originally found those files just by connecting my device to my computer.

I've now been able to ssh into my device as root, but using find / -name devicesalt doesn't show up any results.

I would like to send you the files, but I couldn't find any way to DM you or couldn't find your mailaddress.
